Born in November 1968 in Singapore, Dipa Ein Siak (aka Fann-ein Siak) started her artistic path upon the encouragement of her teacher in school. Almost all of her artworks have been collected both internationally and locally in the corporate and private sector. Her artworks have been described by art galleries and collectors as “whimsical”, “dreamlike magical” and “of a place from the parallel dimension.”
At the rise of her artistic career in the late 1990s, a simple and yet profound event brought her to take nearly 20 years of 'rest' away from creating art. Channelling her energies instead on re-creating her inner self.
Dipa saw her responsibility as an artist ~ To her, the artwork that any artist creates is a form of energy that can affect the mood, feelings and space of the people who own and view it. For instance, just as listening to a piece of sad or happy song can make the listener feel sad or joyful.
She decided there and then that she wanted to create artworks that were of service to humanity, rather than works of art that were egocentric and cathartic in nature.
Her journey to work solely on the healing and transformation of her inner self led her to search for teachers in Thailand, India and Germany. It was the journey within that eventually took deep significant turns for the better.
It is only in the recent years that she feels ready to share her artworks with friends again. This time with a clear intent to share only light and joy.
